Thomas Built Buses
Parts Warranty
Thomas Built provides limited warranty protection for aftermarket parts sold directly through Thomas Build Bus dealers. Coverage is for defective material and/or workmanship for 12 months.
Vehicle Warranty
The overall cost of owning a vehicle is significant and become higher in total as you need to buy parts and service. If you purchase cheaper parts or skimp on maintenence and/or service, it may cost you more in the long run when the parts start to fail. Thomas Built Buses are built for durability and by choosing quality products you can lower your cost since you will also have a stronger warranty.
Thomas Built Buses have now improved three of their warranties which means more savings to you the customer. Thomas Build Buses have lengthened the coverage of the Saf-T-Liner C2 base warranty, the standard body and chassis paint coverage for all models, and the Allison transmission seven year warranty (for models 2300 PTS, 2350 PTS, 2500 PTS, and 2550 PTS with body start date after January 1, 2016 through December 2018).
The improved coverage will include three year or 50,000 mile coverage starting with units built after October 1, 2014. The enhanced warranty will cover the chassis, and other components including electrical and manual controls, safety equipment, assemblies, and more. Normal wear items are excluded. The paint warranty for the standard body and chassis in now five years.
Thomas Built warranties for all vehicles are backed by exceptional customer service. All customers who purchase a new vehicle are entitled to warranty protection as well as peace of mind that any questions will be answered promptly and satisfactorily.
